Does anyone know if Wildeboots is stil operating as I cannot get any response from email,cellphone or landline?
The reason you get NO RESPONSE from Wildeboots is because the have gone BUST – They are BROKE – ! ! ! Possibly because – thats exactly the same as what their shoes did – ie: – very soon after a bit of wear and tear the cheap plastic soles normally cracked right through the insoles.
Anyway the owner has alledgedly “skaaped” off to Cape Town to work for a boss and a regular salary and has left a litany of people looking for him for their own various individual reasons ! One can only Wonder Why the Midlands Meander just cannot sustain business of such nature, when their only success story has only ever Covered Ground since its inception ; due to its vast subsidization from the personal Trust Fund of SA’s leading Motor Magnate Individual – ? ? ? ( Over the years many have tried to make a successes of “meander type” leather business and most all of them have failed – many have come and gone – IE: – Where have Crispins Corner – Brooklands – Agape & Wahroonga all gone ? ? ? – Why has Jim Green become a BUTCHER and Born in Africa has gone into catering for Weddings & is now a Kiddies Play Park Venue ? ? ? We all know that Tsonga is a massive industrial concern operating in the city and simply masquerading as a country concern with their so called “handmade footwear” – it may as well be made in China my China – awl whilst Ground Cover would never have existed without having been grossly funded as a 100% tax deductable to the motor industry . ) Seems the Midlands Meander is an absolute FARCE and quite frankly – you’d be best off as a buyer of fine footwear to go & google LUBBE and then buy yourself a pair of original TRAILBUSTERS – who have after all – been around for about 3 generations of shoemakers in one family and it was originally they, who all these “Upstarts” & “Wanna Bees” have tried to plagiarize since their inception . So it seems the owner of Wildeboots is just another regular Special K consuming Wildedoos ! ! !
